Myles Garrett sent shockwaves through the NFL this week when he formally requested a trade away from the Cleveland Browns. In the first eight years of his career, Garrett has established himself as one of the best defensive players in football. Garrett won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2023, and he has been named to six Pro Bowls. If the Browns decide to trade Garrett, he will surely command a high-quality trade package. Though Philadelphia’s roster lacks significant weaknesses, they could stand to improve their pass rush. Jalen Carter has become a star on the interior this season, but the Eagles are missing a significant presence on the edge. Myles Garrett would make this defensive front one of the most dangerous units in the NFL. His presence would make the Eagles the team to beat in the NFC for years to come.
