The first week of NFL free agency is in the books, and plenty of big moves have reshaped the league. The Seahawks disbanded their offensive core in favor of Sam Darnold. The Colts renovated their secondary, signing Charvarius Ward and Cam Bynum to multi-year deals. More signings are sure to come, but the dust has largely settled around the NFL. With new-look rosters taking form, we can begin to make early Super Bowl LX Predictions.

Honorable Mentions

Kansas City Chiefs
Outside of signing offensive tackle Jaylon Moore to a two-year deal, Kansas City has been relatively quiet in free agency. But a list of Super Bowl contenders wouldn’t be complete without the team that has been to three Super Bowls in a row. While the Chiefs still have weaknesses at offensive line and receiver, Patrick Mahomes is capable of taking this team back to compete for a Lombardi Trophy.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions signing of cornerback D.J. Reed may be one of the most underrated free agency additions thus far. Reed has been consistently productive in New York, and he should thrive in Detroit’s system. The Lions bolstered their defensive line as well, adding defensive tackle Roy Lopez from the Cardinals. In reality, the Lions would have been the favorites to win the NFC Championship last season had they remained healthy. With their new additions, Detroit can’t be counted out.

Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills may finally make it over the hump and find their way to Super Bowl LX. Buffalo added former Charger Josh Palmer to their receiving ranks on a three-year deal. They took a swing on another former Charger, adding Joey Bosa to their defensive front. Bosa has struggled to stay healthy in recent years, but he can be a dominant force when he’s on the field. If Josh Allen continues his MVP-level play and the Bills remain relatively healthy, they should be the favorites in the AFC.
Philadelphia Eagles
After their dominant performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles should headline Super Bowl LX predictions. Their combination of an overpowering offense and a rapidly ascending defense makes them the favorites in the NFC. While important pieces like Milton Williams and Josh Sweat have found other homes, the Eagles have the depth and draft capital to replenish positions of need. Expect free agent signing Joshua Uche to be a key component of Philadelphia’s pass rush. This roster is still too talented to ignore.
